Grow in Faith at TLC!
Christians do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. For that reason, the study of Holy Scripture is at the heart of the Church's life.
Our goal is not simply to increase knowledge, but to receive the gifts of God, grow in faith toward Christ, and learn to love our neighbors in our various callings. Whether you have read the Bible your entire life or are opening it for the first time, you are invited to join us as we hear the voice of our Good Shepherd.
Children
When the disciples tried to keep the little children from Him, Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God" (Mark 10:14). Following our Lord's example, we joyfully welcome children to learn His Word. Through Bible stories, prayer, and age-appropriate instruction, children grow in the knowledge of God's saving work in Christ and the promises He gives through His Word. Our desire is to support parents in raising their children in the Christian faith, helping them to know Jesus, trust in His mercy, and rejoice in the gifts He freely gives to His people.
Youth group
Our Youth Group provides a place for young people to grow in their faith while building lasting friendships with one another. Through games, activities, service opportunities, and devotional time centered on God's Word, youth are encouraged to deepen their understanding of Christ, support one another in the faith, and live out their Christian vocation in their homes, schools, and communities. Together we seek to grow as disciples of Jesus, strengthened by His Word and equipped to confess Him in the world.
Adult
At Trinity we offer several different opportunities throughout the week for continued growth in God's Word. At times we are reading the Bible together, diving into the historical teachings of the Lutheran Church, or discussing how God's Word applies to our daily lives. We welcome you to join us as we grow together.
